I actually did not want to go to Catholic Central...at first. Clearly my parents knew this was the right fit for me, but I didn’t see that right away. When I first came here freshman year, I had NO intention of enjoying myself, making friends or immersing myself into our culture. To be frank, I really tried hard to hate it. But without even realizing it, they sucked me in!

I went from being this girl with her arms crossed, eyes rolling and wanting to be nowhere near this place, to being the girl crying in front of her entire class at our senior retreat called COREX. At this retreat, I told my class I loved them and that I could not imagine going elsewhere. I thought to myself, How could I ever not love these amazing people who I now consider my best friends? Quite simply: This is Catholic Central...at our core we are love.
