When Eleanor Livingston ’21 reflects on her four years at Catholic Central, she gravitates toward service, faith and learning. “What is striking about my education at CC is I am able to help people in a significant way. While Catholic Central is excellent in catering to my academic needs, there is a greater importance of why we are here. Our faith is integrated into our learning, which guides me to a life of serving.”
Eleanor recently won Scholastic's Innovators of Tomorrow competition. This national competition challenges high school students to solve real-world problems using modern or cutting-edge technology. Eleanor designed an urban apartment building incorporating hydroponic systems that provide fresh, high-quality produce to building occupants.
Eleanor will be attending the University of Michigan, double majoring in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and Environment Sustainability (specifically food).
